The Chicago Libertarian Party Meetup Group

Lets start out the New Year right by helping our candidates raise money to get on the Ballot in 2010! You can help by attending of fundraiser on Jan 8th at the Rock Bottom Brewery in Chicago.

We will have a private room with a dedicated serving staff for 3 hours. In addition they will be able to provide us with 2 viewing screens so that we can show a movie during the event. Suggestions for movie titles are appreciated. 2 suggested so far are "The fall of the Republic" and "IOUSA".
We will need one individual to bring a laptop so we can play the DVD on their screens.

The price for this event is $40.00 and includes 3 hours of an all you can drink package.
The description of the drink package will be detailed on the bottom of this announcement.

They have full food service, so if people want to order dinner it will be available, but it is not included in the package.

The Rock Bottom Brewery is located near the corner of State and Grand. It is just steps away from the CTA Red line. There is a parking garage across the street but the restaurant recommended using their valet service which I believe is either $13 or $17 for the entire evening. Please RSVP by 12/29/2009 so that we will have an accurate head count. If we get over 45 people then we can request a larger room.

This American-style Pale Ale combines the smooth flavor of pale malt with a touch of crystal and Munich malts.

Walleye Wheat
Our rotating Wheat…depending on the season and the whim of our brewers, this may be a Hefeweizen, Wit, Dunkelweizen or other exciting style of Wheat beer.

Erik the Red Ale
A dry-hopped American-style Red Ale brewed with dark crystal malt that lends a caramel and maple character to this deep ruby-colored brew.

This is a $40 per person campaign fundraiser; $30 for local political group members in good standing.

David Ratowitz "40th Birthday" Fundraiser

Join us as at the LP Illinois Candidates Meet and Greet hosted at at 3 locations on December 5th.

In attendance will be:

• Lex Green (Running for Governor)
• Ed Rutledge (Running for Lieutenant Governor)
• Josh Hanson (Running for Secretary of State)
• Mike Labno (Running for US Senate)
• Julie Fox (Running for Comptroller) will be represented by Michael Fogelsanger (Activism Director LP Illinois)

All will make a ten minute presentation with five minutes of direct questions after. Once all candidates have finished we will open the floor for general questions as time permits. Please spread this to any and all groups you may think are interested.

• 10:00am Old Bridges Restaurant 1935 W. Golf Rd. Schaumburg
• 1:00pm Texas Roadhouse 2856 Patriot Ln. Naperville
• 3:30pm Nikarry’s Restaurant 1055 N. Lake St, Aurora

Texas Roadhouse is on North Aurora Rd. just East of IL 59.
Nikarry’s is on IL Route 31 just south of Indian Trail next to McDonalds.

Please plan on arriving about a half hour early because we will start on time as we do have a full schedule
