GET INVOLVED and let’s make this thing BIG, folks.

This event will be held at Federal Plaza from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

To raise public awareness of S 604, the Federal Reserve Sunshine Act of 2009 (which is the companion bill in the U.S. Senate to HR 1207 to Audit the Fed!), a peaceful rally is being planned for September 15th. The rally is also meant to generate publicity in the local media and bring pressure to bear on our U.S. Senators from Illinois, Senator Richard J. Durbin and Senator Roland W. Burris to cosponsor S 604 and to explain their respective positions on the bill.

This event is being organized on a statewide scale–specifically in Chicago and Springfield, where both Senators have offices. Our concerted and organized effort will raise public awareness of this important issue and bring political pressure to bear on our Senators for standing in the way of transparency for the Fed. The event will culminate with concerned citizens presenting over 2,000 petition signatures in support of S 604 to both of the senators’ offices.

Please see the discussion on the Campaign for Liberty Illinois forum to offer your ideas, suggestions, criticisms, and support for this important event.

I am developing fliers to promote this event and we will be issuing press releases to local media. If you would like to help organize this event, please contact me. I can use all of the help that I can get!

I also need all of the help that I can get petitioning for S 604 in the next few weeks to substantially increase our petition signature count.

Mass Action Event to Audit the Fed! – Federal Plaza – Chicago

Cook County’s Sales Taxes are out of control. The 10.25% retail sales tax rate in Chicago is the highest in the U.S!

Schaumburg’s 12% Bar & Restaurant Tax is the highest in the history of the nation!

It’s time we stand up and be heard. We’re not going to take it anymore. Sales taxes must come down before all of our retail business and jobs move to bordering counties and states.

Inspired by the Millions of citizens across the country who have participated in 1,000 of tea party parades & protests we will show our support for low taxes on Labor Day this year.

The Cook County Labor Day Tea Party Parade with the Schaumburg Freedom Coalition will be held at the Schaumburg Septemberfest Labor Day Parade Monday September 7, 2009.

Expected attendance for Schaumburg’s annual parade is close to 75,000 with many politicians and political parties involved.

Let’s get more people to line up with the Schaumburg Freedom Coalition to fight high taxes than all other political organization combined, and let them hear our low tax & fiscal responsibility message!

Parade will kick-off promptly at 10 am. Line-up will be on Wise Road between Roselle Road and Plum Grove Road at 9-9:30 am. Wise Road will close between Roselle and Plum Grove Roads at 9 am.

Prior to line up the parade marchers should park & meet up at the South West corner of the Jewel-Osco parking lot at the corner of Roselle & Wise Roads.

Cook County Labor Day Tea Parade

On Wednesday August 5th, the goal here is to have as many members of the CLP call and or email both Senators Burris and Durbin and ask for their support and cosponsorship of Senate Bill S.604.

Senate Bill S.604 is the following "A bill to amend title 31, United States Code, to reform the manner in which the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States and the manner in which such audits are reported, and for other purposes." This bill supports House Resolution HR 1207 sponsored by Ron Paul.

Lets get as many people as possible to let them know we will not stand any more for the Fraudulant Reserve’s secrecy! Here is their contact information:
