Join us as at the LP Illinois Candidates Meet and Greet hosted at at 3 locations on December 5th.

In attendance will be:

• Lex Green (Running for Governor)
• Ed Rutledge (Running for Lieutenant Governor)
• Josh Hanson (Running for Secretary of State)
• Mike Labno (Running for US Senate)
• Julie Fox (Running for Comptroller) will be represented by Michael Fogelsanger (Activism Director LP Illinois)

All will make a ten minute presentation with five minutes of direct questions after. Once all candidates have finished we will open the floor for general questions as time permits. Please spread this to any and all groups you may think are interested.

• 10:00am Old Bridges Restaurant 1935 W. Golf Rd. Schaumburg
• 1:00pm Texas Roadhouse 2856 Patriot Ln. Naperville
• 3:30pm Nikarry’s Restaurant 1055 N. Lake St, Aurora

Texas Roadhouse is on North Aurora Rd. just East of IL 59.
Nikarry’s is on IL Route 31 just south of Indian Trail next to McDonalds.

Please plan on arriving about a half hour early because we will start on time as we do have a full schedule

Title: Second Amendment Rally

The Illinois State Rifle Association and IllinoisCarry.com are hosting the Second Amendment Freedom Rally at the Thompson Center downtown at 11:00 on Friday, July 11.

Dr Suzanna Hupp, former member of the Texas House of Representatives and a leading advocate for the Second Amendment and an individual\’s right to carry a concealed weapon, will be speaking.

With the Supreme Court expected to rule on the District of Columbia vs Heller case by the end of June, this is a good opportunity to show your views on gun control to City Hall and Cook County.

The event will go from 11:00-1:00, and it is in the middle of the Loop, so pop out over lunch if you can.

Title: Notarization Party
Location: Rutledge House
Description: We are getting to Ballot Access finish line. On Monday, June 22nd, we will be turning in all of our notarized ballot access forms.

On Wednesday, the 18th, LP Chicago will be hosting the final Notarization Party. Beer, Pizza, a Notary Public. Stop by, get your forms notarized, grab some food…

If you have forms to be notarized and turned in, but can not make the event on Wednesday, please let us know so arrangements can be made.

The location is easily accessed by car (lots of parking, near Lawrence and Damen), Metra (the Ravenswood stop is about 3 blocks to the east), or el (the Western Brown line stop is about 3 blocks to the west).
